I'll be shocked if the new Gen 3 barrel and bolt carrier assembly are not backwards compatible with an MCX Vortus3. The uppers are different so the simple barrel swaps, ive heard, dont work but whole upper swaps do. Ive had a rattler for a while and love it. Id love a Virtus upper, but they cost almost as much as my complete Rattler did right now. 3.Virtus with the 11.5 5.56 and tacops 6.75in 300blk. The Rattler with both the 5.56 and .300blk barrels. They are only forwards compatible.
