The only thing I've done to the 795 is to throw a set of Tech Sights on it, polish the bolt, and fiberglass bedded a steel rod in the forearm and weighted the buttstock a bit.The Marlin 795 won't hold a candle to an '80's vintage model 25 Marlin I have.
