I clean my litter robot every week. Also hoovering up any debris from in the device and around the sensors. Switched to a dust free litter and q tips. Glad I am not the only one, but sad to see that there might not be a solution to the issue yet. I am afraid of going on holiday in 2 weeks 😱.

Hi I had a bit more complicated problem if this does not work for someone out here. I had litter stuck in the (black or white) sensor housing. I had to wait for the robot to stop itself, open the bonnet, detach globe slightly and clean out channel where globe sits and sensors are housed.
