From what I’ve read in there, they’re expecting some anons to do a edit of the script after awhile so the quality is better and more coherant. But for now, the whole game has english text in it if you aren't bothered by machine translation. https://mega.nz ... They're worried about getting put out of a job, lol. At that rate, Kuro II is probably gonna get a release before NISA gets Kuro done, and the fans will already have an injection patch for that one as well. After that, it’s Reverie and then on to Kuro no Kiseki. I noticed that there are two releases for this game on Steam: one by NISA and one by Clouded Leopard. The NISA release seems to carry a $10 price difference versus the CL version. On a whim, I decided to pick up the NISA release to have the full collection of Trails games.
The process is pretty straightforward really, as long as you got the correct patch, it's only a matter of dragging and dropping the contents of the ENG PATCH folder to the installation folder of Kuro no Kiseki, with an exception for the XAudio2_9.dll file that causes the game to crash on startup on Deck. 2.
Today is the release of the Japanese version of Kuro no Kiseki, and it is the first port to use a lot of new infrastructure we at PH3 built up over the past year or so. That infrastructure includes things like asset compression and platform handling, mundane features like logging and crash reporting, and dealing with game settings.
