When I turn the defroster knob it stops, then starts again. When I push the outside air button, it starts and stops again. When I turn the engine off, it starts again. The real way to resolve this problem is to make certain that drive shaft length is absolutely correct. One eighth of an inch is the absolute maximum allowable tolerance!
