osu! (stable)'s storage structure, where data was directly accessible to users as standard files, resulted in a lot of teething issues due to having to explicitly handle unwanted modifications of key files. To avoid this, osu! (lazer) employs a more stringent method of file storage. As such, there is no equivalent of the Songs and Skins folders.
This is a song list export of my current osu!lazer install, and it features a bunch of ranked and loved mapsets ranging from 2007 to 2021 + a couple unranked mapsets (I think like 10 or something) + also the long stream practice maps by onlyforyou. I put the whole osu! folder from my old PC into an external hard drive and transferred it over to my new PC. However, out of the 2k songs, only about half of them transferred over. I have also tried re-downloading osu! on my new computer and moving only the songs, but that did not work either.
