Fold 3 screen protector peeling.
Hello! The top of my Fold 4 inside screen protector is starting to peel along the crease. I brought it to Best Buy (authorized repair) and was told that the phone would require a full screen replacement because the issue is a misaligned hinge.
I had the same issue before I traded in my fold 3 for the s22 Ultra, if it had looked like yours I might have left it but mine had separated from top to bottom but then restuck leaving bubbles that distorted the screen image. So I peeled it off and sent it in with no screen protector they accepted it, no money was deducted. Yes it does. You can sit with the screen protector unchamged like this but eventually it will get worse. No reason to get worried. But a reason to be annoyed to be honest. Had mine replaced twice now by Samsung (Fold 3) after 6 months each. The one i have on now is holding strong. If it happens again I will just take it off and live without it.Also, upon getting to the Samsung Store at a random afternoon, there were 3 more guys in front of me, all having peeled screens with either their Flip 4s or Fold 4s. I asked the rep there how often the screen starts peeling, and the answer was usually between 6 months and 18 months. They last anywhere from a week to 1 month. Havent had peeling issue with Fold5 yet, but i have samsung care. Otherwise i would stick with Ringke.

I am happy to report no problems with my Fold 4 despite heavy phone use since getting it August 25 2022. I have the Samsung standing case with factory screen protector. I try to be careful, but I have dropped my phone twice so far, a short fall (about 50 cm) onto a thick soft carpet with the phone closed. It travels alone in deep pants pockets.
