That is $149,140.10. The $2.40 in dimes between January 1st, 1894 and June 30th, 1894 brought the total dime total to $149,142.50.
Barber dimes represent a truly large series of coins with many common dates, some tough dates, and a few rarities. In fact, one of the dates in the series is among the costliest rare coins in all of numismatics — the 1894-S dime, which I will talk about in a minute.
