Getting used to the NBME question style is really what the practice shelf exams are for. Do your UW incorrects for surgery and fuck UW IM questions except for GI (you don't have to do all of them). The "surgery is actually IM" hype is so overblown. Most of the test is trauma, peri-op management, and GI which is exactly what UW surgery covers.
