The low hydraulic fluid level was probably due to the loader being installed without topping off the hydraulic system. The tractor has to fill it up during the initial use which in turn leaves the tractor a bit low. I added around 1/2 gallon to bring it back to spec. Again, not a big deal, just a minor disappointment...

I'm purchasing the "bolt-out" sockets in order to remove the bolt and complete the service. However, my question is how to order a replacement plug / bolt.If it's cleaned up and you're sure it's only a slow leak from the manifold, I'd keep an eye on it and the fluid level and run it. Even if you had to change the fluid, say 100 hrs earlier. I'd consider changing the spring clamps on the hose to worm clamps too. At least those, many times, you can tighten up a bit and stop a seeping leak.

I changed the hydraulic oil filter and changed fluid and inspected the screen at 50 hours. For 200 hours, I'll only replace the spin-on filter underneath one's left foot and not replace the oil.

According to the book the fluid capacity is 13 quarts which I've put back in. However the fluid is just barely hitting the dipstick. I just bought a 2025r hydro pump and I'm going to put it on my 1025R and see if it's more responsive.
