Jul 25, 2011 · New Member. Jul 25, 2011. #1. I have a 2011 GTS and I received a P0340 fault code and the PWC will no longer start. It just stopped and didn't appear to suck anything into the intake. I already dropped it off at service but was hoping someone on the forum may have already had a similar issue and could tell me what the code means. Took it out this summer, no problems - runs great. At 27 hours, the maint. required message reappeared. Its somewhat sporadic. The machine did get flipped at 28 hours, but we cleared it out and had no issues. Now has 30 hours, running great, but the maintenance required message keeps appearing. Seems to appear less when its been running for a bit.Feb 26, 2017 · I've seen them throw different codes after awhile when the ibr pcb is failing. It is looking like you will need a new ibr. I've helped others out on here giving them a pretty good discount on the ibr unit but they are not cheap and seadoo won't split up the motor, mechanism, and electronics like they should since all you need is the electronics so you have to buy the whole assy. I just had the entire intercooler system replaced, and the unit was lake tested. This is the second time it has been ridden since then. Yesterday after 3 hours of hard riding it stalled and threw a Check Engine light with code P0344 which is "cam phase sensor signal missing". Pulled the valve cover and checked the timing chain. It's not broken or damaged, looks perfect. Also pulled the plug on the sensor and used some dielectric grease in there.
