Klein - Lovecraft-ish atmospheric 80's goodness. We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson - AKA the other one. Later goes on to follow his descendants. Really good historical fiction. First book is a tad slow for a little bit, but it picks right up again. Based heavily on The Secret History of the Mongols. His Emperor series will be 5 books when the next one comes out, but it's just too fictionalized and untrue to the historical record for my taste.

Luke I appreciate the way the gospel is put forward in this book. It's the one I find myself re-reading the most. John is probably the best for overall theology of the meaning of Christ's sacrifice but Luke does a great job of clearly pointing out the events that took place. BONUS LEAST FAVORITE BOOK

His character development and the meta story about human greed for power is truly gripping. If you liked Ender's Game, you might like The Circle by Dave Eggers. Ender's Game is a space war dystopia written in 1985, The Circle is a social media dystopia published in 2013.

The novel was such a fun read, and Damon was such a perfect cast (everyone was, really). Scott’s direction and Goddard’s tight script worked wonderfully, I hope those 2 work together again. "Song For the Unraveling of the World" by Brian Evenson is a collection I adore, as are "Books of Blood" by Barker. H. P.
