I would do the AAFP questions next time prior to the exam, look at the anki cards from dorian deck, and redo your peds and ob questions as well. Divine intervention podcasts are also very clutch. Use AMBOSS surgery questions first, before UWORLD, if you want your main source of learning to be questions and explanations. Then follow it up with UWORLD surgery, GI, and pulm critical care. Got the above the honors cut off for most of them and usually didn't finish UW. UW for shelf exams imo is literally worth 100x more as a learning tool than anything else. If you learn from every question, you'll know the same when you finish them as anyone else ... The surgery shelf is stupid. Add me to the list of people that didn’t love de virgillio. It teaches a good framework, but it was a lot of extra information, and the qs in the back didn’t get me a single question on the shelf. Surgery shelf for me was harder than step 1. I liked the peststana audio more than de Virgilio . I ultimately did well on it

If it's too much, I would definitely get through Uworld first and supplement only your weak areas with topics from de virgilio. AMBOSS always for surgery and for medicine, and for USMLE step 2. Personally I only did AMBOSS up until a few weeks before step 2 and did better than 50th% on all shelf exams (except OB).

Internal Medicine; Obviously one of the tougher shelf exams of 3rd year (but very doable if you put in the necessary effort). Many call it Step 1.5 as it is actually not a bad shelf to step into right after taking Step 1.
