The comp pro is hard to find right now but is $1400-1500. Either one is going to be a much better choice than the mossberg. The 1301 is a very reliable gun, the 930 has not proven to be and the 940 is to new to have much of a track record so I'd go with the 1301. I've run a 1301 comp for years.

I have a 930 and I think the 940 added some of the OR3GUN parts to address the issues with the 930. I have a 930 jm pro tactical series. It works well with all loads. After about 100ish rounds of break in, it has run flawlessly. It does get incredibly dirty very quickly around the gas system. Greater cleaning intervals aren’t all that separates the 940 from the 930. Additionally, the Mossberg 940 Pro buttstock can be adjusted for cast, drop, and length of pull.
