From the Juno Beach Pier a white crappie jig is the top lure choice for the Mackerel. Mixed in with the Spanish Mackerel will be some bluefish and jacks. The same lures will work for the jacks and bluefish. A pretty good number of croaker and whiting in the first trough over the past week. Fishing from the surf was a bit slower this week, but pompano reports north of Jupiter Inlet have started to improve (still a bit spotty south of Jupiter). From the pier bait it seems to be about a 50/50 split between bait and Doc's Goofy JIgs catching the pomps.
