Honda odyssey hood latch not working.

Long story short, the motors went out in the gate at 50k miles. The Honda dealer fixed it and they went out again at 60k miles. They said the warranty was void at that time. So we started manually shutting it. Now it won’t shut at 70k miles. Not sure if it’s not closing all the way or not latching. Recently bought a used 2007 Odyssey LX. Sliding doors are manual.
