Dometic had d/c’d the model and their suggested replacement was 2cf smaller and left a 2-3 inch space in the cutout. Wife said small enough already. Shopped around a found a Canadian mfgr that made the cooling insert. About $550.00 delivered. Lifetime parts and labor if it ever quit. 4 hours labor.

Cut the corners of which ever plastic you choose, to match the outside radius corners of the window sash. Measure from the outside to the outside of the sash. Install the plastic, from the outside with 3/8 inch metal screws "WITH WASHERS", directly on to the sash. Sep 28, 2010 · There are 2 ways to try and repair it.
