Basically creates a 3d map of the object's outline. It won't be perfect, but the point is to ensure that a blob is generated that contains the entirety of the object. The issue with how Tesla achieves it is that most of the cameras don't have much overlap in coverage. Meaning that the blob is usually being generated by a single camera.
