They were stout, tough, extremly simple guns and seem to last forever. If you have the barrels blued, make sure you take/send them to someone who can cold rust blue.

This .410 bore Lefever Nitro Special received a complete restoration. The original buttstock was missing, we fit another factory buttstock to the gun that was provided by the customer. A new forend was made and finished to match. Both were checkered with correct flat top checkering. Color casehardening was done by Turnbull Manufacturing, Inc.
