Jul 10, 2017. #1. I am closing in on the 50hr service for my new L3901. I am wondering about oil weight. I plan to use Rotella T6, and always have that in 5w-40 around for my Power Strokes. Is that weight OK or should I use the 10w-30? Tractor is in northern Indiana right now, but will be moving back to central Texas with me in about 1.5 years.
