I contemplated selling mine because I was in it for so much money. $2400 for the gun, $300 for reduced/stippled grip, $70 magazines, $150 optic plate, and $500 SRO. So about $3,500 and was having a hard time justifying it. As soon as I shot it that justified the price real quick.

I think the staccato dlc finish is my new favorite finish. ...Staccato's are nice and their fans are very loyal, but I don't think the XL & XC are worth the money. I do strongly recommend the DLC finish on the barrel and optics cut. The new Tac grip texture is nice but I haven't had any grip issues with the standard texture, so I wouldn't bother unless you just prefer the looks.

I predict the Staccato XC and Sandhawks will take over carry optics in IDPA. They could probably mod the artemis by cutting in a comp into the island signed section. That being said I am in the same boat and just plan on getting an athena because I can run it as an IDPA esp gun, carry optics, and uspsa limit optics without buying 3 guns.

I could go measure it but from their sites the C2 is essentially 7.5" from beaver tail to end of barrel vs my 19 gen 4 mos is 7.28". Height of gun from bottom of mag base plate to top of rear sight I'm assuming on the C2 is 4.94" vs 5.04" on my glock.For me I got a DLC barrel and love it. The less wear isn’t the only benefit. It’s smoother all around which makes a difference with these tight tolerances. If you had to guesstimate a % how much would you say. I couldn’t give you an exact percentage but at $100, I think it’s worth it.

If you plan to have other guns in the series and want cross platform compatibility and skill, imo C2 is the way to go.

So much for what people know. The CS takes all of these attributes and adds to them with a metal flat faced trigger. The trigger shoe is fit excellently into the frame with very little play. I hope in the not to distant future these become standard across the Staccato range.
