I need some help identifying a holly carburetor. The car is a '71 LT-1. The carb has the following numbers. 3989021. LIST 4801-1. 2678. The first two numbers make sense to me...i believe these are correct for a '71 LT-1. From everything I've read Holley dates through 1972 are 3 digits and 73 and later are 4-digits. So what's with a 3092 date?Holley 3837 Chevelle SS Carburetor 1967 396 date code 6A3. The number above that in the picture is the General Motors id number 3908957-EJ. This Carburetor has the original Holley color. All of the steel hardware has the original factory plating. Very hard to find with this late 1966 date code for a 1967 car.
