Additionally it appears that Tivo App (Android) sees the Tivo, however when I attempt to connect to the box it just hangs. and sometimes provides a 'Signon Error' message. On top of that PyTivo still can not connect either, though the MAK has remained the same. All is not perfect, but at least I can use the Tivo to record shows again.

After many calls and repeating the same information to multiple people, we eventually were told to go to the xfinity store and get a new cablecard. After installing and calling up to get it paired and restarting the TiVo it now works again. The process was not painless but at least things are working again for the time being.
