The Panhellenic Council (sometimes abbreviated “Panhel,” or “PHC”) is the governing body for Penn State’s 22 inter/national sorority chapters. The council is comprised of eleven individuals who strive to provide leadership, sisterhood, scholarship, and service to the Penn State Greek community.With the ban on first semester rushing, frats are seeing plenty more sophomore rushing. It's totally normal. First semester rush is 99% sophomores since freshman can't rush in the fall. Even in the spring there are still some sophomores but it is a little bit tougher since there will be a lot more people rushing. The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life supports the active and alumni members of the Penn State fraternity and sorority community.
