Wait for shuttles can be an 1:30+ by the end of the night. Driving out of EDC can and will be hell if you don't know what you are doing. Both shuttles and driving can turn into nightmares quick if you lose a friend during the end of the night and you are waiting around at your meet up spot to see if they will turn up.
