Either down on the switch or from behind the instrument cluster so that the 0411 knows what gear it's in. The black box didn't care. The 0411 PCM has a much faster processor than the Black Box PCM and has dual timing tables. There is also more support from the tuning software companies for the 0411. EFILive and HPTuners both offer "Custom Operating Systems" for the 0411 to support boost and or nitrous. Since the S10 pickup has different number of cylinders, has physical throttle cable (corvette has DBW) i have to change the Operating system completely.When the 0411 first came back from Black Bear, there was only 22 deg at wot. Cruise timing was way low too, mid 20's rather than mid 30's. I sent it back with the data logs and asked for more timing. They did add cruise timing, but wot is still 22.0.
