It is designed that way for some reason, so once your engine miss was corrected the stabilitrak system was turned back on by the car's computer.I contacted OnStar and they found 3 diagnostic codes: 1) the ABS is not functioning, 2) the Traction Control / Stabilitrak is disabled, and 3) the engine control module is malfunctioning.
