I am getting the following codes: P0442 "Evap Leak Monitor Medium Leak Detected". p0456 "Evap Leak Monitor Small (0.020) Leak Detected". I thought it was the gas cap because a few weeks ago the guy doing my emissions ...Done to avoid damage when no driver is around to monitor things. It took 4-5 visits to the dealer over a 3 month span to get rid of the P0456 code in my Crew. Many, many components, any of which can cause this code. While the trouble code may state that there is a “large leak” in the EVAP system of your Dodge Durango, the actual leak will most likely still look relatively small.

The car doesn't have a gas cap. Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Below and to the rear of the gas filler door. No need to take the wheel off. Pull the tabs on the wheel well liner (only 3) and push the liner out of the way. Twist the ESIM off, unplug the hose and electical line - reconnect the new one (with new gasket) and twist it back on.
