Checking the thrall diet, the columns from left to right matches 1 to 1 the following stats: stenght, agility, vitality, precision, survival. Also, the bonus for the level up depend not on the first food eaten, but on the last. I noticed that if I fed different food the last % bonus applies

When you increase agility, it's protecting your vitality since it effects armor value. So your getting a twofer by going agility. It's just not so noticeable on the vitality. At least that's how I see it. #2.

According to the wiki grilled steak will give you a +14% chance for vit boost, and gruel will give you +14% str boost. So run grilled steak and gruel for the best results possible.
