The first DLC that came out slightly complicated the answer to this question. You can now have 2 save files for each profile that @ylluminate mentions in their answer. One save file will be for the regular game mode, the second is for Master Mode. You can only maintain one save file in each of the two modes per profile. Share.

Ive defeated BoTW but i havent completed everything. I was thinking of reseting my game so i can complete it fully. I know i can do that already on my current save file but i feel it would be more satisfying if i completed it on an uncomplete save file and i also feel it would be fun to experience the game again.
