The Scalarworks mounts don’t interfere with the rear sight on the A300 and 1301 except when it comes to the T1/T2. The MPS/Acro/SRO work fine with the A300 rear. The mounts cowitness with the factory irons with the other optic options. I assume this is due to the weight of the T1/T2 being too much for the screws.

I haven't had any problems with my A300 Ultima Patrol. However, I have heard that occasionally there are some semi-auto shotguns that have ejection issues with low (short) brass shells. The easiest remedy may be to only shoot high (tall) brass shells like standard birdshot, 00 buckshot, and slugs.
