Hey guys Im trying to figure out a way of fitting a 10" sub under the back seats without losing too much function of the midgate. The only problem is I already have my amp for the door speakers mounted and wired under the driver side rear seat which is where most sub box plans are built for.2007 Chevy Avalanche Midgate Crossbar. I fold down the seats, remove window and latched it to the midgate window holder and locked it in place. When I fold down the midgate the crossbar between midgate and window doesn't wanna come down. I see a tiny button in the center where the window rests and it's all the way down.I just got the new midgate box from car audio factory you know the $300 one and it was a mess !! First opened it up and it was cracked in 2 places then got it in the truck and the mounting holes did not come close to what they were supposed to be and then to top it all of the precut speaker holes for my 10" subs were only about 9" wide so I couldnt even get my subs in there !!
