Tahoe and yukon forum.

I've been in the search for the perfect Yukon for awhile now, but have yet to see it. However, I've seen several Tahoe's that fit my budget and everything else except for that Yukon (Denali) front end I love. So, my next thought is to get a Tahoe ('03) and switch the front end to a Yukon Denali (also '03). The questions are:The Tahoe was made to run a 285-45-22 so they will fit. Lots of folks say a 22" wheel rides just as nice as a 20" wheel and others do not agree as it is really a subjective topic. I'm of mind that a smaller wheel will deliver a softer ride and certainly have more traction and be better off-road and for towing.I have a 2016 Tahoe and had a similar problem a few months ago. After 3 trips to 2 different dealers, it was fixed. According to the repair order they replaced a "jounce bumper". My 2016 Tahoe had 80K miles when I bought it. I drove the Tahoe taking it easy to make the engine and transmission last. Normally, on the highway, I cruise at 65.
