I have a 2018 RAV4 XLE, bought it new ($25K) At this point, it has 85K miles. So far: oil change (every 5K) a new set of tires, front brakes. ZERO issue. My kids are driving it now. Not the best in term of acceleration as compared to a 2019 RAV4 hybrid. I see it’ll easily last 200K plus miles, if my kids don’t wreck it.

The RAV4 is not as big as you think , its taller and you ride higher, but its footprint is closer to the prius then it is to a full size suv. The prius entire focus is on mpg, mine drove fine but it was slow and heavy, sometimes felt like a boat. Its all about aerodynamics, and being able to coast through winds.

Much better handling and driving experience with CX-5. Nicer interior in all respects in CX-5. The turbocharged engine in the CX-5 whipped the RAV-4's. RAV-4 was just vaguely tacky and boring.
