2007 Prius intermittent red triangle of death 140k miles. Last winter on particularly cold days the Prius, Fiona, would flash the red triangle of death on particularly cold days. The "death" triangle might indicate that you need a new 12V battery. A new battery fixed my problem on my old 2008. YouTube has instructions how to do it.
