Shit is amazing. I pretty much only have done anki for psych/soc. What I did though, is do the anki cards and any that don’t seem immediately intuitive, watch the khan academy or read other sources associated with it. For example, something like Piagets sensorimotor phase being infants, pretty easy no real need for a video.

Please advise if you are familiar with this deck for an individual viewing an average of 50-100 cards a day. The are no “best” setting for this (or any other) deck, what works well for you may not work at all for another person. If you’re not familiar with Anki settings, I recommend using the default settings.

As for organization, you need to download this to organize your deck (believe the latest anki update has it built in but you should be fine using your current 2.1 version) Heres the link to the deck as well. In terms of incorporating it into my readings, I would usually do the specific anki deck for a chapter after I've read and take notes on that chapter. But for me, the setup for Pankow is much nicer to digest with cloze deletion style cards (kind of like MilesDown), which helps to understand the concept being asked.
