John Deere 8440 reverse not working. Yes, it's the four-wheel drive. Well, went and looked at it. In pretty rough shape. More going on with it than the guy initially let on. Very rarely will it go into reverse. Occasionally when going into forward gears there's a loud clunk when it starts to move. The rest of the tractor was in really bad shape.

We have this tractor and after it gets warmed up, usually after running and operating for 30 to 45 minutes the clutch lube pressure and ( I think) clutch system pressure..2 lights anyway come on. It takes some time of driving it to get the lights to come on at WOT, but if you come off the throttle some they will come on sooner.
