Isx blowing coolant out overflow but not overheating.

I have cleaned the rad, the thermostat is new and i checked its working, it has a new head gasket, the rad isnt heating up enough to turn the thermo switch on but ...Combustion in the cooling system ussually gets worse and pushes coolant out overflow while driving due to overpressure. Rapid temp fluctuation and fan cycling is another clue to air or compression in the cooling system. I would also be replaced the thermostat with new. Hate to say it but everything you said sounds normal for a 3.6 jk. Above 200 Coolant explodes out the radiator with the cap off. That is normal when burping. 3/4 on the temp gauge in the mountains trying to keep up with traffic is normal as well. Jul 20, 2016 · Noticed a leak. We took the front end of the car off to see where the leak was. Only to find that it was only coming from the overflow Coolant tank. Checked the spark plugs, compression test, and then finally started lookin around the radiator cap. The one on the top of the pic, is the old radiator cap. Which has lost the middle. The V6 doesn't normally blow the headgasket. Only the earlier 3VZ engine 92-93 does. Start off simple. Check all the other hoses too. I had a similar problem about the coolant a couple of years ago and it was that small hose leaking a little.
