Pull off any old string that is still wound around the hub of the spool and feed the end of one of the strings in one of the anchors holes in the hub. Wind the string around the hub in one of the two grooves until about 6 inches remain, following the direction of the arrow. Push the string into one of the lock notches on the rim of the spool.
